NEI Electric has assisted in the completion of two separate projects at Normandale Community College. The first was a two-phase renovation of the College Services Building. This was a 109,000 sq. ft. remodel of an occupied building that included a gut and remodel of administrations, student services, and classrooms. The second project involved a full remodel of the college's 65,000 sq. ft. of library buildings.
Replaced three medium voltage substations to enhance power reliability and efficiency for the facility.
Upgraded branch panels to support modern electrical loads and future expansion needs.
Installed state-of-the-art lighting systems to improve energy efficiency and enhance the building’s functionality and aesthetics. Our prefabrication team problem-solved to create can light inserts to fit the metal slat ceilings.
Delivered fully equipped Zoom-enabled classrooms to support hybrid and remote learning capabilities.
Conducted a complete gut and remodel of administration offices, student services areas, and classrooms in two carefully planned phases, ensuring seamless transitions for occupants.
